Classes and Crops

Have you checked out the event calendar for March?  There are quite a few classes and crops being offered.  


March also marks 1 YEAR at our store front!  So exciting.  I am working on a few specials to celebrate during the month.  As soon as I have them all worked out, YOU will be the first to know.  Make sure you visit the blog frequently.  

I will no longer be offering weekly sales; however, if you attend a paid crop or class, you will receive 30% off the regular price of most merchandise.  Exclusions include: Andrea's Artistic Albums Artwork, kits, layouts, pre-packaged kits made by Andrea's Artistic Albums, custom orders, classes, crops, and parties.  Some other exclusions may apply.


SPRING BREAK YOUTH CLASSES!!!!
I am almost done designing the Spring Break Youth Classes, and I am so excited about the projects.  The children are going to be proud and have a lot of FUN being creative.
     There will be at least 2 sessions per day for 3 days. (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday)
     Each session will be $18.00 per child.  However, if you register a child for all three days, there will be a discount, 3 classes for $45.00.  Each class will be 2 hours in length.
     All supplies and materials are included in the class fee.
     Must register and pay at least 24 hours in advance.

Here is one of the LOVELY projects.  It is on display at the store.  Register early.  Most classes sold out during the Winter Break.

FROZEN Fan?  We have some great Frozen products, just arrived.

You asked for it, weekend CROPS, and I added them during March.  Hope you can make it to at least one of them.  

Crafting TIP:  Don't forget to add some Stickles to your flowers to JAZZ them up!  Stickles are a great and inexpensive embellishment.  You can also use it for borders on your photo mattes!!!  Plus, you don't have to use glue to add the glitter, it is ALL-IN-ONE!!!

Looking for a more saturated ink color?  Use pigment inks.  They take longer to dry, or heat set, but they have a rich color.  You can also add clear embossing powder before the ink dries to give it a little bit of a shine.

Winter Break Classes

Yay!! The Winter Break Classes were a HUGE success!  Thank you to all the parents and children who came out for the classes.  We will be offering Spring Break classes, and I will post them as soon as they are all designed.  I can't wait to see how the children will make the projects their OWN.

All supplies and materials are provided.  Paint and decorate this lovely photo/note holder.  All sides are decorated.

Card of the Month
Date: Wednesday March 4, 2015

Fee: $30.00

Each persons will receive 5 rolls of washi tape from Little B LLC, make a total of 6 cards (2 cards of three different styles).  Your recipients will be LUCKY to receive such lovely hand crafted cards from the heart.  Must provide your own basic tool kit.

Double Layout of the Month

Put all those awesome SNOW pictures on layouts.  The layouts feature Bo Bunny's Powder Mountain paper collection.  Must provide your own basic tool kit.

Call at least 24 hours in advance to register and pay for seat.  Please not if you cancel within 24 hours of the class, you will not be refunded the class or crop fee.  If it is a class, you can pick up your supplies at the store to make at home.

Feeling LUCKY??

I am looking forward to moving from pink, red, and white to green, gold, and white.  I have been cranking out some FUN St. Patrick's Day projects.  I also  hope to have the window redecorated in a couple of days.  Do you celebrate St. Patrick's Day?  Go to any parades?  I have an awesome pocket album ready for all of those pictures.  I will post pictures and details on the next blog post, but stay tuned.

St. Patrick's Creative Youth Class

Date: Saturday March 7, 2015

Time: 10am-12pm

Fee: $15.00

Class includes all supplies and materials.  Plus, we will take a photo of each child during the class, print it, and put it on the shamrock.  Call at least 24 hours in advance to register and pay for a seat.

Fun with canvas.  I have been thinking outside of the box and recently started working on canvas.  I love the LUCKY collection by Authentique Paper (in stock at the store).  I also used the FUN Glitter Paste and Stickable Stencils by Bo Bunny.  After the canvas was painted and the Glitter paste dried, I sprayed a light coating of Thermoweb's Gold Glitter Dust over the entire surface.  I used tape, ScorTape, and liquid glue to adhere the paper to the canvas.  

To complete the sides, I added 5/8" ribbon around all the sides using a hot glue gun.  I stapled the gold ribbon to the back of the frame using a regular stapler.  This makes a lovely home decoration or gift.  Have you ever used canvas?  Share your tips with us, post a comment!!!

Card of the Month:

Make some cards to give for St. Patrick's Day, featuring Little B's foil tape.

Make 6 cards, 2 of each card.  Plus, the fee includes 5 rolls of Little B washi tape.  Use Viva Gold Decor and sequins.  Plus, learn how to make rosettes.

The Youth Valentine's Day Craft Party was a LOVELY success.  I always love the energy that young creative minds bring to the store.  Plus, there were some delicious SWEET TREATS served including a pretty love filled Candy Buffet.

Seats are still available for the fun and creative Winter Youth Classes scheduled during with Winter Break.

*Two creative hosts will be available for the classes, and children will leave with completed creative projects.

LUCKY Youth Class

Each child will paint and decorate the note card/ photo holder.  Additionally, each child will have their picture taken and added to the center of the shamrock on the photo holder.

Woohoo, I always love days when new product arrives at the store, and today was an awesome day.  New products include: some Echo Park dies, Echo Park Mini-Themes, Bo Bunny's Altitude paper collection pack, Darice Dies, and 12x12 Frozen paper pad by Sandylion.

Classes & Events

Classes, classes, classes!!!! 
LOADS of classes are on the calendar for February including a guest instructor for one of the Winter Break youth classes.  Most samples are on display at the store.  I am working on March's calendar and will be offering youth classes during Spring Break.  Can you believe with all the SNOW, I am already thinking of SPRING BREAK?  Please remember all events require a minimum of a 24 hour notice.

CARD OF THE MONTH

Make your loved ones hand crafted Valentine's Day Cards with February's Card of the Month Class.

CARD MAKE & TAKE
During the Month of February, join us for our weekly Card Make & Take.  The cost is $2.00 per card and includes all supplies and materials required to complete the card.  See our calendar for the scheduled dates and times.  Seats are limited, and you must call at least 24 hours in advance to reserve a seat.  Please note, the Make & Take does not take 3 hours, but is scheduled for a pop-in/pop-out event.  Therefore, you don't have to be at the store at 4pm to make the card.

Birthday Card on Wednesday 2/4 from 4pm-7pm.

TWEEN CLASS

Perfect keepsake featuring Bo Bunny's Misc. Me Zip a Dee Doodle collection!  The 3-ring binder includes decorated pages, pockets, and plastic photo page sheets.  The class is a two session class.    The album can hold up to 60 assorted sized pictures.  Additionally, pages can be added to the binder.  Class is for ages 10 and up.  Must provide your own basic tool kit.  Sample is available at the store.
